One cannot imagine what a woman is like before one gets to know her. One can start by searching for some quality and then find another quality one did not realise one was missing in one's life.
I am not sure this is the right place for me, in that I have a lot of intellectual and religious interests. At present I am trying to learn Sanskrit. But I joined because I thought I needed to lighten up a bit.
I love going to the opera, which is such good value for money, given the full orchestra, chorus, and whole spectacle -- not to mention the soloists. I used to enjoy visiting art exhibitions, but nowadays the good ones are often so crowded as to dampen one's enthusiasm for going. In Lockdown I have learned to take good advantage of Zoom; and I think it offers an ideal way to get to know someone โ easily, without expense and without any compromise of either party's security or privacy. So that is what I would like to do as a first step with anyone.
