Hi. Okay, so I'm Ellen. I'm bi, but never had a relationship with a woman. So there's that. I've recently come out of a very long relationship with a man. I am looking for friendship and to explore a side of myself that I have never properly been out about. That's a big topic to start on, but I thought I'd get it out of the way.
Other than that, I am a creative, practical girl with a love of good humour, good company and good cheer.
I'm an animal lover, love nature and wildlife. I work as a prop maker for theatre so am more often than not in scruffy jeans covered in paint and metal grease. I love trying new things and making the most of life and have been a bit isolated and smothered for a long time. Need to stretch my wings a bit. New people, new experiences.
I love good cinema (no soecific genera but good scripting is key), fantasy novels (Pratchett, Robin Hobb), good British comedy (Fry and Laurie, Spaced, blackadder), theatre and performance (my job and my passion). I have a brain that stores quotes and song lyrics instead of useful information. I love a bad pun, take excessive joy in poetry and smutty innuendo alike. I love nonsense chatter as much as I do in depth talk of life the universe and everything.
I smoke, have tattoos and piercings and a cuddly toy octopus called Cthulhu. I weld. I knit. I know most of Danny Kaye's The Court Jester off my heart. And the extended edition LOTR box-set. With extras DVDs.
I'm looking for someone thoughtful, positive and fun loving to share this new chapter in my life with.
