This time with a girlfriend....
We met at a pub (where else?), had our wine and a four hour lunch, and great conversation.
I'm surprised at the friendships I've made here....though really, I shouldn't be, as "certain types" of people tend to be drawn to places like this --THE FUN ONES!!!-- so why not find friends here as well as anything else?
So many men assumed, when I told them I was meeting a woman, that I had suddenly turned bi, or asked if she'd be up for a threesome. Nope, we're both straight, and if women can't meet to drink a glass of wine or 5 and to talk about everything women can find to talk about, then the world must be coming to an end.
I'm lucky to have met several people on here that I consider friends. No, that's not all I'm looking for, it's the icing on the cake.

You are soooo right about making friends on this site. Really enjoyed our lunch and just chatting about life. To laugh, have fun and meet like minded people is great, it's not all about sex. I am having my first meet with a chap tomorrow and am really looking forward to it. He looked at my profile properly and didn't sent the usual 'text' speak or a 'I'm up for it!' message and that chaps (please take note)is refreshing... |

Pete, you are too right. Though I don't see that happening with another woman any time soon, here! Still, I've made some wonderful female AND male friends on here that will stay as friendships. Isn't it great that we can have both? |
