Trapped within a shell, crying, dying, clawing at the barriers which are unyielding, tormenting me to no end, laughing at me with a devilish grin, and casting an eerie shadow upon a joyful soul, chaining it to the confines of darkness.
Within the dampness of this dungeon, the bitter chill drives through the flesh to the bone, stealing away the warmth of this gentle, caring soul, attempting to drive out of it the love, and compassion it desperately clings to with all it's strength.
Demons from within these confines, toil with my emotions, filling my soul with twisted visions of hope, then laugh evilly upon their prey, the tears visibly gliding across its cheeks as it slowly succumbs a little more to the repressive, relentless torture from these depths of loneliness.
When will the wondrous spark or life once again project itself from these empty, cold eyes?
Only the endless depths of time shall reveal the truth.........
