I have had the opportunity, usually very late at night, to contemplate where I want to be and more importantly who I want to be. I know that there will be many changes socially, such as isolation from family and friends. The advantage for me is that I am soon to retire (so I am by no means trying to be a 'party gurl') and with that is a change of country of residence. This in itself means that there will be no chance meetings with family and friends while en femme. The separation from my current social network will afford uninterrupted time to practice all of those aspects, habits and mannerisms which are truly feminine.I will be using every resource and opportunity that I get practice before then but retiring will still represent a major milestone in my effort.
I am truly embracing the desire to be en femme as much as I can. To me that marks me as being TV. While I have considered SRS and becoming TG I feel that opportunity was lost too many years ago to be recovered. As I become more comfortable as Steph, as a TV, I may explore ways of being somewhere in that middle ground between TV and TG.
