I know that I should have jumped in the deep end of TV pool when I had my make-up and dressing session. I enjoyed the way I looked and the way I felt. It would have been the perfect time to practice and get better at being gurly. But there is no point crying over spilt milk or missed chances ( no woulda, coulda, shoulda's).
I have seen how I can look and know that if I find others who are willing to share their tips and 'tricks' then I can get much better. It won't happen quickly but then anything worthwhile takes time. I can try many different looks and when I find the one that is meant for me then I can practice it till it becomes second nature. When that happens then I can envisage being TV full time.
That is not to say that I don't love the look from that wonderful session because I do love it. I can use it as a benchmark to compare my solo efforts with those of a truly wonderful professional (thank you so much Arpi for all you have given me).
