I have a confession to make. I don't swing.
Now that you've all stopped chasing me across dark, thunder-storm swept countryside carrying flaming torches and pitch forks shouting 'Burn the heretic!' can I have a word?
There doesn't seem to be any legislation stating that someone who doesn't swing shouldn't be here. Now I could come on pretending to be a swinger and pretending to meet people but that would make me a fake and a liar. I could sit in the chatroom every so often typing '9 inch cock wants to meet. Can travel' but that would make me a liar on two counts.
Instead I put quite clearly on my profile that I don't swing. What I do do however is support this site. I pay to be a Premium member and keep the facilities open for classic members, I use the mailing system and I use the chat rooms. I support and advertise genuine socials and attend them. After 4 years on this site I have built up enough know-how to help others out when they have a problem with technical problems, reporting things to admin, weeding out the wind-up merchants and helping people out with the etiquette. I have helped out swingers with advice and even helped swingers financially on this site. I have been a match-maker, put on socials and recruited a massive number of new members. I have contributed articles to swingers sites which have been published all over the net and I've done this for absolutely no money, just for the benefit of the Swinging Community. This is the first time some of you will be aware of what I do so for those that made assumptions I just chat and do nothing I'm afraid it's time for a rethink.
So what's it to be? A fake who claims to meet but doesn't, winds people up and is generally unhelpful. Doesn't attend any socials, doesn't contribute to the chat room or forums, doesn't pay the premium membership that keeps the facilities open for the classic members?
Is there a difference between a non-swinger and a swinger that just doesn't fit what you're looking for? Either way I'm not meeting you so what's the problem? Maybe you should be pleased that I don't swing because that's one less person in competition.
Take a minute to think about it. Should Roman Abramovich not be allowed to buy Chelsea because let's face it.....he ain't no footballer? Should vodafone not sponsor the Mercedes McLaren F1 team because they do mobile phones and not cars? Should Bill Gates not be allowed to be the Chairman of so many charities because at the end of the day he does computers and not voluntary work?
It irks me slighlty that most of the noise made by those who rant 'You're not even a swinger' are the very one's that do the sum total of fuck all for the site except log in and whinge that everyone is a fake or a timewaster because they can't get a meet.
For the record I used to swing but decided that I would stop. For the record my partner is seeking a single bi-female. What's the difference between her and me and a couple that want to meet a bi-fem?
A pillar of swinging is the freedom to choose, to live and let live, openess and honesty and transparency. This is a huge part of why I'm here. I agree totally with the fundamentals. There are people like SexyCarol and Mick whose hospitality is legendary. A couple who would give and give and expect nothing in return. M3guy and M3chick who often go out of their way to sort out problems for people with no expectation of being owed. The countless number of people on this site who I could phone at any time of day or night with a problem and know that they'd be happy to help. People like bbw4u1, BGBF, scorpiolady, msminicooper, DomeofPleasure and so many others I have met and become friends with. (sorry about the name dropping but these people have been here long enough to substantiate that being a non-swinger is not a real issue).
I'm happy to listen to opinions from those that do something for the swinging community and not those who just moan for the sake of moaning.
