The excuses for disappearing....

From my having to say "I think I'll need to see a police report to believe this one" to the reason being that "I found myself thinking about you too much, it scared me and I had to back off." From "Going through a divorce/separation and had to back off to get my head together again" to a simple "No explanation--sorry." Then there are the ones who are simply MIA with no excuse at all.

I know for a fact that I'm not the only one who has heard these....what's the best you've heard?

Skebbie	6:10 am Monday, 24^th February, 2014 There was a recent case in Japan where a UK guy disappeared for months, leaving his pregnant Japanese wife with no news whatever. He later turned up alive and well in Yorkshire having withdrawn a chunk of his savings. His story? He claimed he was being chased by "yakuza" (Japanese gangsters):-) Naturally he had no intention of disappearing and starting a new life :-)
SunShineGirllUK	11:09 am Monday, 24^th February, 2014 I have experienced a gentleman i met on here leaving the site. He explained that he was leaving site as after us meeting on more than one occasion he wanted a deeper relationship,which at the time i was not receptive to. So he left saying he didn't want to stay then one day maybe notice that i had met with others We have now developed a platonic friendship which has become very rewarding and enjoyable.
Skebbie	11:24 am Monday, 24^th February, 2014 I wish I had thought up a good excuse for disappearing when I once travelled 200 miles and hired a car for a date, only to discover I didn't fancy the woman at all :-) I've been far more cautious about getting a full picture since then. I wonder if I'd told her that I was being chased by yakuza and had to disappear fast whether she'd have bought it :-)
