I gotta admit I vanished for a bit this year. In my case circumstances arose that meant it became very difficult for me to balance both sides of my life together.

I guess I never said cheerio to anyone either because I didn't know how long I'd be gone or because I found it too difficult.

Maybe it'll happen again? If so, apologies in advance and I doubt very much I will have been run over by a bus (I will more likely have accidentally got myself a straight girlfriend like what happened last time!) Oops - how did that happen?!

I disappeared this weekend ... back now though.

I've had a couple of online friends disappear and I have missed them and a couple of times even worried about them. One of them is back now so it's all hunky dory. Xx

We all join for different reasons and we will all eventually leave for different reasons.
Circumstances dictate that some people won't be able to log on, some might not want to share their reasons for no longer being here and some might think that they just wouldn't be missed.
Whatever the reason all you can do is keep your mind open, try not to worry, hold no grudges and wish them well with all of your heart.

Some need to be careful with what they wish for. ;-)

Thought it might just be myself who does that but obviously not. Not sure it should be like that and I'm sure if you tried to explain to people who dont interact with others in the online world they would never believe you. But facts are facts and feelings don't lie.

Just have to learn to move and hope new acquaintances are just around the corner.

I can't imagine anyone would notice, but I'm here, lol. Had a couple of weeks off with 'family stuff', but back now.

What about when a friend offers an invitation then disappears only to reappear when said invitation has expired? Hmm :-(

I'll accept the excuse of us being too nice with open arms MsG, can def live with that :-)

As for the expired friend returning like Lazarus when the moment has passed Luv2 I hope they had a bloody good reason or else you'd be very forgiving to give them a second chance.
