Evie and I have been discussing things and looking around the hub for a few months now, generally scouting and seeing what there was to see. That's when we saw Tommy and MJ's event. They sent us a message months ago, but we never got around to talking. And when we chanced upon the event on the calendar, we contacted Tommy and MJ about it. They were more than gracious in responding to our questions and concerns, which really helped us feel at ease. We were still a bit nervous when we got to the party, but our apprehensions were quickly erased as we were welcomed by Tommy and MJ, as well as the other guests. It was a really enlightening experience and we especially enjoyed listening, learning, and conversing with everyone there. That sort of jovial, comforting atmosphere was great for first timers like us and we're truly grateful to our lovely hosts for being so accommodating and entertaining. Looking forward to hanging out with them again and easing more into the community :) |

One good way to destress after a busy day is to hang around the right kind of people. MJ and Tommy are two excellent examples of people who know how to put others at ease. Tommy is a subtle alpha male and a maverick. On the other hand, MJ is a very bubbly and grounded lady. We did not physically play with them but we didn't need to--connecting with them through conversation and picking their bains was enough fun in itself. We look forward to our next meeting with them.
