Ex-London, ex-wit and raconteur, has lived life, loved most of it and was terrified by some of it. An early retirement after a mystery illness and an extended stay in the Royal Free left me with a bad back but prescription painkillers are just the ticket. I live each day like it's my last. I've decided to shake my life up before I shuffle off. I will hit the big 70 next year and I have a hankering to buy a boat. Distant shores are beckoning, somewhere warm in the winter would be fab!
