I was diagnosed with cancer about ten years ago. Although I am generally fine, the diagnosis, subsequent treatment, follow-ups, survival (oddly), and immersion in all things medical have screwed with my head quite a bit.
Consequently, I have become unwilling to compromise my one life.
Work (which is full of stress at times) as well as a sexless, if loving, marriage have manifested into the desire for physical contact, sex, and diversion; as long as there is some sort of connection which, hopefully, lasts beyond the so frequently disposable, fleeting and no strings nature of relations made on sites like this.
