Earlier this month it was reported that Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor (the Academy Award-winning composer of The Social Network) would be composing the score for Timur Bekmambetov‘s adaptation of the Seth Grahame-Smith novel Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, and would also appear on screen in the movie as the vampire who kills Lincoln’s mother. A couple days later, Reznor responded to the rumors and confirmed that he was in fact in talks to score the film, but his role in the movie was not much more than a surprise cameo (ruined by the internet). Well it looks like that won’t even be happening anymore.
