As I native speaker (of American-style English), the change I’d suggest is from “in my streets” to “on my street.”
The way I hear people most talk, “on my street” usually refers to the lots, houses, and other establishments along the same particular road where the speaker lives. It refers to the neighborhood or community as much as to the actual roadway.
They’re having a BBQ party on my street.
There are lots of old trees on my street.
Most people on my street park their cars in the garage.
“In my street” would usually refer to an object or activity that is physically situated in the actual roadway. Since streets are usually not privately owned, I usually hear "the street" instead of "my street" when it's used this way.
People are partying in the street.
There is a fallen tree in the street.
Most people in this neighborhood park their cars in the street.
