I wasn't always a cat person I used to feel I favored pets of the or reptilian variety. But my first, a gray tiger striped tabby is the smartest pet I have ever had or seen. It's amazing how much they can communicate to you if you just pay attention. Both of my kids were orphaned and the youngest, was only days old when we took her in and nursed her to health
