I like modern art- but i`m not talking about the `shit in a can` or `pile of bricks` modern art, i`m talking about real, talented modern artists. Not the elitist idiots at Tate Modern.
I am fascinated by the notion of 'the end of the world' any books, films or television programs about a post apocalyptic, dystopian existence keep me gripped. Castrophism is the one thing I fear the most, yet it completely captivates me
And just because I sometimes wear makeup, and have an interest in fashion does not make me a raving camp queen.
My mouth is like a smith and wesson semi-automatic, i`ll shoot you down before you even draw [a breath].
In this country we ridicule humour and theatrical flamboyance, but appearance is a powerful personal and political statement. Taking your life into your own hands on the nightbus is a serious business. Flamboyance is a threat to society`s thin veneer of reality, and it takes guts and character to oppose the tide of conformity.
