Airways adds seasonal flights
Cayman Airways will operate flights between Grand Cayman and Orlando, Florida from 25 June 2004 until 9 August 2004. In April 2004, the airline will take delivery of a second leased Boeing 737-300 aircraft powered by CFMI CFM56-3C1 engines. The second aircraft will be leased from International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) until April 2007.
The remainder of the fleet consists of three owned 737-200 Advanced and one 737-300 (also leased from ILFC) aircraft.

Delta Air Lines chief to join new airline
Frederick W Reid - President and Chief Executive Officer of Delta Air Lines, is to become the Chief Executive Officer of Virgin's Group planned US low-fare domestic airline. The new airline is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2005. Reid will retire from Delta effective 1 April 2004. Delta will shortly announce further organisational moves.

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines to resume Atlanta flights
From 31 October 2004, KLM, in co-operation with Northwest Airlines, will start daily roundtrip flights between its Amsterdam hub and Atlanta, Georgia, US. The airline already operates to 16 destinations in North America.
Atlanta is the main hub of Delta Air Lines and KLM intends to join Delta as a member of the SkyTeam alliance.
Further destinations being added are Kristiansand from 28 March 2004, Riga from 31 May 2004 and Tbilisi from 15 June 2004. Cargo capacity is being increased with the introduction of a third Boeing 747-400ERF aircraft.
