I have had extensive experience as a principal and central office administrator in urban and multicultural settings. I am well versed in the best instructional practices. I have traveled extensively during my lifetime. This past summer I was one of 15 administrators from across the nation invited to China by the educational leadership program at Virginia Tech. The purpose of the trip was to acquaint ourselves with educational system in China and to form new bridges with other educators. Earlier in my career as a principal in Durham, North Carolina, I established a sister relationship with another elementary in Kostroma, USSR. I was a medical student in Brussels, Belgium for two years and speak French.
I have my own consulting business, Virtual Executive, which provides principals with a process for diagnosing instructional leadership capacity, social and emotional competence and data-driven decision making skills us.
