I LIKE LINES BEST. especially lines that divide space. or lines that delineate a space. also anything which is related to a division of labour: selective membranes, VACUOLES and protein channels. items that create local inequality or a differential gradient. Anything that directly affects a distribution of forces by controlling or regulating them. networks. aka lines that cut across space. Also processes like colonization and PHAGOCYTOSIS. LINES and SPACE. Especially where LINES divide SPACE (repeat) or structure it in some way. I am interested in the WILL TO POWER, particularly unheard of forms which come out of the black. Forms which evolve super-rapidly, come out of nowhere and flatten everything else. Like moments in a war when one side invents a SPEAR or a ROCKET or a BLITZKREIG. I'm interested in PATHS, especially ones which lead to exactly the SAME PLACE. Paths through the forest or the jungle or stationary ones. I like artificial things and PLASTIC ones. I like electricity and virtual dependencies. I'm interested in SPEED and the ability of bodies to move themselves especially the ones that can do this super-rapidly. One of my favourite things is SAMENESS and DIFFERENCE. and how things like fetish (repeating) and change relate. and also, BBW, suicide, DEATH, clearings and open space, the SKY, the SEA, chalk circles and LINES, closure, rocks, rockets, FASCISTS, vaginas, sodomy, PAIN, FLOWERS and OTHERS. finished a piece called 'rings' : thirteen bronze rings. I wanted to make a SET of twelve things and then destabalise it with a thirteenth element. The rings are a new piece which mark an absolute and definite departure from the metaphysical obsession that characterised 'Phalanx'. The rings were born from a love of LINES, NEGATIVE SPACE and HOLES
