I grew up outside of the city with no opportunities for friendships, and when it would ordinarily have been time to leave home, I had no place to go. Knowing that was enough to sever any developing socialization that had been going on in me up to that point. And without that connection to society, I became an outsider. Outsiders like this can't lead, let alone be full adults, and my deepest dream and desire is to be courted and romanced as though I were a classical or traditional woman. I can't pretend to be something that I'm not.
