My long term partner of 12 years, died 8 years ago and I've been on my own since. This is kind of a last resort to see if I can meet some new people. Truth is I've been a Widow for 8 years now and it's not been easy, I loved my girl a whole lot and I cant pretend I'm ever going to stop missing her and always feel that in some kind of a way we are still together. its a lot of baggage I know, but I can keep it tidy and I don't drag it around with me on chains.
Thing is that doesn't mean I need to be on my own for ever.
Im looking to start having some fun again and hope to meet some new and interesting people here. Im not really looking for a relationship at the moment, just some good company and fun.
I'm easy going, like to laugh and think I'm kind and considerate.
Im just going to always be honest on here and tell it like it is so as no one gets the wrong idea and to make sure i dont upset anyone. As long as I do that then i think thats all i can do.
im not going to act like im ready for a relationship when talking to people, as im not and i never want to give people the wrong idea. Im not closed minded to one of course. And it's true and Im not ashamed of it, that i do miss the physical side of things, but also the company and enjoyment of just talking with someone new.
Its a lot to ask for i think, and I dont really expect to find people who are looking for the same, I assume most people want something with more of a commitment but then again what do i know.
I just hope that as long as im honest then no one can take offense can they. and people can either just avoid me or be honest back and say they are looking for something other than i am. well i hope thats how it goes, i would hate to be seen as a player just because i admit to missing the physical, cus im nothing of the sort. But i expect thats what people will think when i tell them that that side of things is something I would like to have again.
