I don’t strive for perfection because, unlike my dog,
I don’t find satisfaction in chasing things that I can’t catch
but I do try to embrace imperfections and learn from my mistakes.

and treat other people the way I would like to be treated.
I have an enormous amount of respect for those who have earned it
and, in many cases, those who have not
