A lot of life is congenitally determined. Everyone except very unusual people need human interaction. Some people need and want human interaction badly. Some don’t need it nearly as much. Loners are at the latter end of the continuum. Ongoing interactions with other humans almost always bring some kind of emotional discomfort. If you are a born extrovert no matter how painful people can be…you have to go back for more. Loneliness and isolation are much worse for you than the pain associated with interacting.
