I get excited just to be able to see the results of the hard work I've put in, or to see the results of the effort I've put into it. For example, finding a new way to solve a difficult problem in the midst of a busy day at work, or having a new revelation after an in-depth study of a particular field. This is where I find the most fulfillment in my work. As far as happiness goes, I would say that traveling, shopping, and spending time with friends and family make me the happiest. These activities give me a break from the day-to-day grind and give me a chance to get out and see the world, or just relax at home and build deeper relationships with those closest to me.
