I'm single and just recently turned 49. Christ! I feel ancient when I say that. Anyway..just like most people who resort to online dating, I'd love to find my life partner and fall madly, truly and deeply in love. At basically 50 I do have grave misgivings about the possibility of that happening. One thing I can not and will not do ever again is hide or withold the truth about who I am, what I enjoy and what I hope to find. In the grand scheme of things I'm pretty vanilla considering what all is out there. Yet and still it would be nice to see love, understanding, interest and maybe even real excitement in her eyes as I confide in her the truth. The truth of who I am and what I want and hope to find in a partner. I deserve to be happy as well and I refuse to ever again hide or be ashamed of the amazing person I am.
