Hi! I'm retired from the Air Force, I have a degree in History from Virginia Tech, I LOVE the beach and have lived near one a large part of my life and am working on moving back soon! I also enjoy gentle hikes or bike rides, festivals of all kind, theater, museums…almost anything to get out and enjoy with someone! I'm divorced and live alone. I have 2 grown daughters, the youngest is 21 and I raised her by myself since she was 9...we both probably need therapy!! I play guitar (badly, but it’s my safe place!), I seldom drink so I can't use that as an alternative! I don't smoke or use drugs; I'm 6'1" tall around 250. I would like something that can become real and forever, but I would really enjoy talking and getting to know each other and be friends first...I would say that I am romantic, I love holding hands and stealing little kisses and cuddling on couch eating pop corn watching some silly movie! OH! I have an eclectic taste in films and music, food!! I'm an animal lover even though I’m without a pet of my own. I am sincere and have a lot of compassion for others; I smile even when I don’t feel like it, however I am truly closer to being an introvert, but have learned how to be somewhat talkative! I go out and socialize, but usually I’m on the fringe into myself and who I’m with. I can be both silly and serious. I also try to put out positive energy and warmth. Ok, what makes me smile? A familiar song, the sunset over the ocean, a face across the room that is as happy to see me as I am them, puppies, a perfectly cooked steak, playing the guitar and figuring out a song, waking up without the alarm having to be set...that was probably bad, now for the real bad! I’m a little old for you, I’m 57!
