How do I write a good description?
The best descriptions are full of information and unique details about you and your preferences. Avoid writing lists - as much as you may be interested in swimming, horse-riding, reading, cooking, drinking, partying, going in, staying out - it`s not very inventive or enticing. Be creative, take your time. Rather than saying you have a GSOH, use it - write something witty. If you are interested in writing songs or poetry - include a verse for the fun of it. Don`t be too formal, write as though you are talking to the person. Don`t be over confident saying "I don`t know why I`m doing this, I could meet anyone in the pub" - it`s not exactly attractive. On the flip side - there`s no need to be overly shy - "I`m not particularly interesting - an average sort of girl really" won`t have them hammering your door down. Most importantly, be honest. Lying is rude and will not achieve anything. If you are hear to meet people, never never never write "more details coming soon." Not only will you find that NOBODY will be interested in getting in touch with you, you will find your profile whipped off the site until you can do a better job.
