The best descriptions are full of information and unique details about you and your preferences. Avoid writing lists - as much as you may be interested in swimming, horse-riding, reading, cooking, drinking, partying, going in, staying out - it`s not very inventive or enticing. Be creative, take your time. Rather than saying you have a GSOH, use it - write something witty. If you are interested in writing songs or poetry - include a verse for the fun of it. Don`t be too formal, write as though you are talking to the person. Don`t be over confident saying "I don`t know why I`m doing this, I could meet anyone in the pub" - it`s not exactly attractive.
