Ever since my brother got a P.S 1 in 1995, I have played games.
Whether they be video, board, tabletop, practical or sports (still games!) I just enjoy the thrill of competition, in engaging with something beyond the norm of the 'real world.'
I have found though that gaming is at its best, when shared with somebody. Online games are better with friends, because then frustrating mistakes become hilarious anecdotes.
Outside of the electronic gaming world, I play in a badminton team (woohoo division 5!), both play and GM a weekly D&D session, and i have an abundance of nieces and nephews who I'm determined to make time for as much as possible.
