Usually a spider had 8 legs but poor Bobby was not like other spiders. For he had 10 legs which allowed him to be able to scratch an itch on his 7th and 8th legs! Despite this, Bobby was never popular amungst his spider peers and they made fun of him. They even called him names like "10 legs."
But one day a huge spider war broke out and the area had been set with land mines. Someone would have to detonate the landmines so the spiders could leave their village again. Bravely Bobby volunteered and one by one stood on the mines blowing of his many legs. Bobby had finally cleared the mines when he detonated the 10th, sending spider blood and exo-skeletal shrapnel everywhere. The other spiders cheered with applause. Bobby started to roll himself back to see his mother when another landmine sent parts of his abdomen far into the sky. It turns out there were many more landmines than first thought so the spiders couldn't leave their village and sadly died of starvation and cholera.
