In days of old the only way to meet someone from a similar background was by being introduced. Mother's or Father's circle of friends had a boy or a girl and it was arranged that the two would meet through an introduction. Chaperons were common place.
And now to throw in some questions that come to mind.
"Manners" Are the days of Chivalry lost forever? Has "It's just not cricket" become a distant memory? Courtesy another Neanderthal? The days of "Manners maketh the Man" lost in the Victorian area. Does anyone know how to lay a table or are we all turning into Plebeians and only eating with the very basic implements or just using our hands? Does anyone under 40 remember how Grandad or Grandma used to "Dress" before coming to dinner. How often do you see a man 'kiss a ladies hand' upon introduction or am I a ghost of the past? Is it wrong to open a door for a lady or to offer assistance to someone trying to cross the road?
If any of these questions ring a bell this Aristocrat would like to hear from you.
My past includes Big Game Hunting for the Government hunting such things as Lions that have killed humans. My pets that I have owned include: 2 full grown Leopards, a baby Hippo, a Serval Cat, a Civit Cat, a full grown Bateleur Eagle and Faulk a full grown Fish Eagle, a ten foot Python. Too many animals to mention them all, but now only own 2 Africa Greys.
