I'm the kind of guy you can count on. I'm an honest, straight-forward guy who knows how to laugh and enjoy life, and who knows its more fun having that special someone to do this with.
I get a kick out of the fun differences between men and women. I can enjoy a going out to watch a Chick-Flick (if I HAVE to ;) but of course would much rather watch the movie with loud noises, stuff blowing-up and naked people. :D
I really think the best relationships have 2 things going for them: Lots of common-interestscommon-ground, and plenty of compromisegive-and-take.
I don’t think people that are stubborn, that really dig in their heals, make for the best partners in a relationship.
Someone who is flexible, someone that can bend a little bit (hey, I'm speaking metaphorically here!:D) is the kind of person that would be a good match for me because that is the type of person I am.
Having just laid that all out here’s a list of things I absolutely won’t do: :)
-I won’t go shopping for shoes (or ever understand the female obsession with needing 8000 pairs of shoes)
-I won’t listen to country music
-I won’t ever prefer chocolate (or any other food) to sex. Food vs. sex? No contest. I can go a couple of days without food... LOL)
A fun time can be going out for a walk, dinner and a movie, a day-trip to some-place new, or staying
in watching a movie with some playful tickling going on. :D
What else can I tell you? Well, I LOVE being a father. I have an adult son and daughter here in Ontario that don't live with me and a daughter in Alberta with her husband and my two grand-kiddies. Social networks are where I feel it’s more appropriate to reveal that kind of intimate look at this part of my life then on a dating website.
Ideally, I’d like to meet someone who’s nice & fun, and if we hit it off, let things progress naturally from there.
Some qualities I look for in a woman:
-intelligent & witty
-has a wise-ass sense of humour to keep me on my toes :)
-has a bit of wild side she keeps quietly hidden
