A few weeks ago I went to Paris for 3 days to have some fun with a couple of friends and run a half-marathon, the first time I saw the "Metro" signs I thought, looks like the entrance to Moria, I wonder if we'll have to fight orcs, avoid traps and run from a Balrog, that'd be cool! . Sadly we were lacking in the silver-bearded-point y-hat-wearing-wizard department so it would have been an unfair fight.
I recently tried Bikram yoga (the hot type) for the first time, I felt I really needed to learn more about the art of sweating and boy it did not disappoint. I tried to contort my body in the positions the teacher showed us, but my joints and muscles kept replying to my brain "f***k off mate, that ain't happening". Lesson learned, if you want to relax take a nap.
Hiking with friends in the Lake District we crossed a pretty stone bridge , and I must admit I felt a bit sad that there wasn't a troll under it, another myth busted *sad face*.
