I'm a recently separated 54yo health professional and would love to find a lady who is bright, funny, articulate, and attractive. (Wow! How original!) I relish my solitude, but having a friend and companion that will tell me about the books she's read, and movies she's seen would be the cat's meow! I think most folks are looking for someone they are attracted to who values them.. Me too! I'm just getting out of a long-term relationship. So starting another one isn't at the TOP of my list. But, if someone floats my boat...well I'll just say it doesn't get much better than finding someone you can cherish.
I tried to be a Republican, but just wasn't any good at not caring about people. So, I guess I'm a "quasi-liberal". The Dems are too uninspiring though, so I plan to vote for Kinky Friedman for Govenor in November. He thinks kids should have healthcare too. And speaking of healthcare, I've had HSVII (Genital Herpes) for about 25 years now. Thus I'm realistic about the chances of 80% of those who read this reading no further.
I'm easy-going for the most part and like many of my contemporaries, I'm fond of James Taylor, Cat Stevens, CSNY, Willis Alan Ramsay, The Beatles, and Pink Floyd. I play guitar, sing, have been known to write songs and have designs on learning to play a pedal-steel guitar, tin whistle, bagpipes and banjo. I also read a lot and tend to chew up a regular book and a couple of audio books a week. (suspensethrillersmystery, sci-fi, histerical fiction), I've been trying my hand at writing, and have a lot of plants. I love kids and pets, but not living with me! I don't mind working hard and in fact, usually enjoy it. But it's also fun to pay someone else to do it. :-) My 5000 gallon Koi pond system with its waterfalls, lush plants, and a bunch of colorful, hungry fish is my passion, and I'd love to build a garden railway to compliment it. (Bigger boys need bigger toys!) :) I hope this coveys enough about me that some charming beauty who likes to be romanced will want to know more, or is confused enough that she'll look me up just to clarify things. :)
