A charity in Oregon that’s against pollution has created an annual event where protesters come together in their birthday suits and ride their bicycles as a spectacular demonstration opposing the use of oil and to deliver the message ‘on your bike!’ (instead of car that is!)
Then there’s the Running of The Nudes, also a peaceful yet clothes-free protest which takes in Spain two days prior to the Running of the Bulls where around a dozen bulls are released down a set of streets and killed in bullfights later that day. The naked run takes place down the same route that the bulls would normally head through, many people choose to wear absolutely nothing other than a set of horns and red flag.
Did you hear about the 100 lady shoppers who turned up in nothing but their bra, knickers and high heels in the Lakeside Shopping Center, Essex? They were given gift vouchers for doing so and encouraged to hit the shops to buy themselves a new outfit. Most of them headed straight to the nearest shoe stores however despite already donning a pair of killer heels! We guess lots of people just feel naked without some sexual footwear!
