cancelling friend request that hasnt been accepted

As the tilesays, I would like friend requests to expire if they haven't been accepted fter a week, or the ability to cancel a friend request that has not been accepted

Not a bad idea, but maybe more like two weeks or so, as people may be working away, holidaying etc. Also if request is resubmitted, you could automatically be told that your request had been previously rejected, or gone unanswered.

If you have sent a friends request and would like it remove as it has not been accepted or declined, submit a ticket to the helpdesk asking for your friends invite to XXXX member to be deleted.

It would be better to have a button that becomes active after say a few weeks. Seems a bit to much to have to submit a ticket for something so simple
