Dogging M74 near Moffat

Hi,
I am a newbie and have done nothing yet, but I am often driving home (north) on a Saturday night up the service road (Old A74) past Moffat and see the odd car parked in a quiet layby.
I can see people sitting in side and think it a little curious, as it is usually 2.30am ish.
Does this sound like doggers and if so what is the correct way to approach and let them know you are interested?
I don't want to freak some unsuspecting folk by stopping and approaching.

Chris

maybe

maybe its difficult to to tell, all you can do is park up and either turn your interior lights on or flash your brake lights -

RE:maybe

Thanks I try that.

Re. Dogging

Did that work??
I've always wondered about digging etiquette lol.
I'm in Carlisle btw. Up for pretty much anything ;0)
