Cut - Why The Preference?

Although I'm new to this site I've been swinging on and off for a few years and there's one thing that puzzles me. Some ladies and couples in their profiles say they will only meet men who are cut, ie without a foreskin. Why is this? Beyond the cleanliness thing is there any reason for it? I'm genuinley curious.

Re: Cut - Why The Preference?

In the case of men, the underside of the foreskin is the primary absorption site for HIV viruses. It's also the primary outbreak site for herpes and certain other STDs. All else being equal, an "uncut" man thus quite simply has a statistically higher chance of having contracted andor passing on an STD.

(Some men have elective circumcisions, primarily in order to reduce their own risk. Unfortunately, in this day and age, it's a tough judgement call - going into hospital for elective surgery means running an otherwise avoidable risk of contracting things such as MRSA VRSA Don't kid yourself these antibiotic-resistant "superbugs" only abound in "dirty NHS" hospitals either.)

A tragic "downside" of this is that some genuinely - and totally erroneously - believe that being "cut" renders men immune to catching transmitting HIV etc. It doesn't - and neither, for that matter, does the "snip" (vasectomy).

So why not just say you can catch HIV whether cut or not instead of trying to be clever and contradicting yourself?

I believe if you bother to read my posting in full (and, for that matter, quote me in full) you will find that that is exactly what my posting states - having a circumcision reduces the risk of a man catching certain STDs, incl. HIV - but it does not obviate it, as some erroneously think. I provided this information for those with a capability for literacy andor rational thought processes.

Re: Cut - Why The Preference?

Its a preference! Some people prefer black men, some prefer white, others tall, short, broad, hairy, etc, etc.

Its their choice, their preference! Its not meant to be offensive to any uncut men.........
