Yesterday I made a comment which was quoted from the Channel 4 series 'Shameless' where Frank Gallagher stated:
"Alzheimers....a world of your own and revenge on your kids"
This comment was not aimed at anyone in particular and was not said with the intention of malice or controversy. It was a quote from a television programme and in line with the conversation going on at the time. Although several other members made similar and harsher comments it would appear that one member took offence to mine.
I apologise unreservedly for any offence or upset caused and in future I invite the offended member to contact me direct as soon as something is said and I will happily make an apology at once.
