I have at least 30 messages sent and unread, do others have the same problem. The flashing red letter is not that visible. If the mail word at the top of the screen flashed then we would all see it.

u mean in your sent items box?
if u click on them they`ll come up as read
dont think it means the other person hasn`t read them
