Who is this site really for?

Since registering with this site about a month ago, I've sent out mails, heard from two or three people, done some chatting (boring - just a lot of men asking to be pm-ed and so forth), no real results so far.

Here's a genuine question - who is this site for?

The impression I get is this :-
Men think they can find women here for sex.
Apparently the women here don't want sex.
