Can anyone tell me is there a way of checking what sites, pages etc have been entered and viewed on the computer once the temporary files, cookies and history have been deleted.

Re: Avoiding detectionGood question! Deleting temp files, cookies and history will work for any non-computer buff, but remember that files which are deleted by the normal method (ie. Recycle Bin) REMAIN on your hard drive and can easily be restored with many freeware programs. This is because the files are not destroyed (even if you have emptied the bin), they are simply flagged as not in use by Windows. They may be overwritten at a later date by Windows, but I have recovered files from my PC from WAY back!

Re: Avoiding detectionNo, webtrekker is correct. When you delete files from your hard drive they are not actually deleted, only their entry in the file index is deleted.
