Just Some Photo Hints

Ok, guys, many of you are needing a hand here. A simple checklist for your photos to get more attention:


1. Put your face in the thumbnail area. In verticle photos, you need to watch the space above where you have your face, and it will focus in about the middle of the top half. I see a lot of tops of heads and little else.

2. Smile, and make it a real one. RBF does not look good on anyone. And throwing signs, flipping off, holding a beer up, and other expressions might work for friends, not lovers. And duck lips are so last decade no matter the gender.

3. Do not wear hats, hoods, beanies, or sunglasses obscuring your face. Shading the face and covering the eyes is only hurting your chances. Yes, we know some of you have thinning hair. Embrace it as seeing you will work better anyway.

4. Clean the mirror, room, or area you are using. I know we all have our messy places. Just don't take a photo there or go outside and get some full light shots somewhere beautiful. Or get a hotel and have a sexy photoshoot. It is a lot of fun.

5. Use the expression you would give to your lovely date when you say hello. Happy, excited for the time, and just enjoying the moment. You are worrying about work or if you will get replies and it shows. Being mad at life, in general, it will show. Believe me, when I say happiness is sexy.

6. Stop using filters. Adjusting the light, color, or contrast is one thing but adding some filters makes your picture less appealing to anyone (but someone else who likes those filters). There are fewer of you than you think.
