So interesting the firestorm

I wrote the original blog primarily about younger women in their 20s or early 30s. The responses have been from women and men in their 40s to almost 50.

When I have written a similar blog on other sites I hear from younger women who talk about the momma's boys or the guys whom they support and treat them poorly. I hear about the bad relationships.

Yes you are right. Money has been a positive for me. In my 40s I was dead broke. There are some young women who find men who have power, fame and or wealth "sexy." There is no question that feeds my ego, as it does for a lot of politicians and rock stars and movie stars and businessmen.

And this certainly hit a "nerve" for a lot of the responders. Maybe the responders need to ask the question why they feel the need to justify their situation. I am not putting anyone down. I am not criticizing anyone. Does it make you seem more important in your own eyes to try to put down the wealthy guy? Does that massage your ego? Does your ego need it that badly?
