As I sit & lament on our wonderful English summer. One day mediocre sunshine then 5 days rain & curse this plague that we endure. I look at the photos of 3 summers passed & luxuriate in the memory of warm climates, sandy beaches to go naked on & a totally more Mediterranean laid back lifestyle.
Then delve into that & again wonder why there's such a cultural chasm? We visit the few beaches on the south coast that 'allow' no clothing & obviously there's the climate which we can't change & if,like us, you love the sun, then you don't get to visit those to often!
But the cultural side is my point? We have been naked & played on Spanish beaches & been watched doing so. But in a sexy way.....
Here in good old England or at least the south coast,we need to erect a wind break & a small half pop up tent( yes leave the double entendre!). This is to cut out the usual 'breeze' blowing & to stop the dirty old men brigade from gawping & creeping butt cheek by butt cheek across the beach towards getting a better gawp! These are never fully naked themselves! So if you can't go on a public beach naked then why should you be allowed on a nudist beach clothed?
You are never going to invite those to offer hands on & they must know this?
Whereas on the continent people look & if not invited, move on! On these beaches they are actually naked too!
