TIMEWASTERS ...... WHY DO THEY DO IT

I've been on this site about 9 months now and I have met some really great people on here , and had some really mindblowing encounters . For a guy on here it is hard , you have to work the site , and be prepared for lots of No Thanks , replies , but that's just the way sites like this are . I'm pretty good at spotting the genuine people who actually meet , rather than the ones that have no intention because they are fake and pretending to be someone they are not .
But I've just been done , by one of the members on here . Led me onto a meeting then at the last minute , stopped replying to texts , emails and calls , and has ended up costing me the price of a hotel room . Why do they do that ? What possible pleasure can they get from being so ignorant ? I just don't get it ? BUT ..... That said I'm still having lots of fun and will continue to do so . So any genuine ladies or couples out there wanting some fun , please get in touch .

Fantasiesforu	12:32 pm Monday, 25^th February, 2013 Your right , but sometimes distance doesn't allow that to happen . It's my fault , this is the second time she has mugged me off. I gave her benefit of the doubt tho . I like to see the good in everyone , its a failing of mine !!!!

Skebbie	1:14 am Tuesday, 26^th February, 2013 I also had one experience of booking a room at the Sheffield Hilton and got stood up. There were no further communications from the woman, and all attempts to contact were blocked. I can only assume that in some cases, people are timewasters out of sheer malice. Of course the motives are anyone's guess, but it's not totally out of the question that some women are out to extract "revenge" on men as a species because of some unfortunate event in their history. Other people (blokes with female profiles) may simply think it's a just good laugh stringing blokes along and then dropping them. Some people do have warped senses of humour (like that craze a while back of slapping strangers in the face while filming it on a mobile phone). The internet is a wonderful thing but it's a double-edged sword because it gives people too much anonymity and so people don't feel accountable for their actions. It encourages people to be devious and cowardly. My long experience of using internet dating has left me very cautious, so I always do my homework very thoroughly before even thinking about meeting someone. As the author states, it's relatively easy to spot the fakes once you get used to the patterns of their mails and profiles.

As a matter of interest, another well known site has a system of rating people through both positive and negative comments. Also the people being rated have an opportunity to rebut negative comments if they think they are unfair. Admittedly a lot of people on there are in the sex industry, but some ordinary people are there too. I always think that if such a system were adopted for adult dating sites, then it would make people a lot more cautious about their behaviour.
