Learning how to be me again

13 years ago, I met a very special man who was my soulmate. He was my Dominant first, but soon became my Daddy/Dominate. I loved him with all my heart, and we took care of each other. We learned to be fair when arguing, to communicate at all times, and to be open with each other about everything. In 2016 I was diagnosed with two forms of cancer, which I have been in remission from since 2017. However, as I was recovering he was growing ill. It started with constant infections in his bladder and eventually grew to something much worse. We celebrated our anniversary every March 31st, but this year, before Covid reached the state we were living in, my beloved passed from this world to the next, just two days after his 64th birthday. It was two weeks before our 13th anniversary. We never got legally married, due to issues with his ex-wife, but I still considered him my husband and I consider myself a widow. I am finally feeling ready to start re-exploring the lifestyles we'd been involved with for so long, but I'm being extra caucautious due to a situation I got myself into due to my grief after his death. I no longer live in the state we had been in for several years, but simple things still trigger the waterworks in me as I loved him so and always will. I have some lifestyle stories I've written or have in progress that I've posted elsewhere. However, they show some of my interests and so I will start posting them here if everyone is interested. I hope you enjoy what I share, mind you, some of them are writings I'm still working on.
