Cloudy skies flashing subtle hints of blue
Knowing soon I will be with you
You walk towards me a with your cheeks all a glow
I stagger as I am shot from cupids bow
Spinning head, my pulse starts to race
Feeling the warmth of your sweet embrace
Leaning together our locked eyes do not miss
As we lean forward for a lingering kiss
I can feel from the closeness your heart beating at pace
As we break and both smile, yours lighting your face
“I can’t believe you are with me” I manage to say
“I never thought for one second I would see this day”
You say “Hello Adonis” in a hot sultry tone
“It’s so nice to talk properly instead of the phone”
I reply “Hello my baby” as I drink in your beauty
“I can’t believe you right here with me”
We race to the car, I drive quickly back home
I can’t wait for us to be together, some time alone
Through the front door and into the hall
Shoes bags and coats landing wherever they fall
We pause just a second to look deep in our eyes
Was that fireworks I just heard in the sky?
No it’s my heart beating at a faster tempo
I hold you not wanting to ever let go
We kiss tongues exploring our mouths locked together
Knowing we can kiss finally at our leisure
We both laugh and its good feeling like millionaires
