Pros to Swinging (so far)

I don’t remember putting in this much effort for my husband on our wedding day! It’s easy to get into a rut of comfortableness. Your partner doesn’t care what you look like to some extent, you know they love you, you don’t need to worry about appearances.

This is what I love about swinging. Suddenly my husband wants to go to the gym and go on a diet. I want to actually put some make up on and shave my legs. We’re not really doing it for each other, we don’t need to, but now every day is an opportunity to look our best and try to attract someone to play with. I think it’s brilliant. I’m happy to have a fitter, sexier husband even if he’s not doing it for me exactly.

Another important thing is it’s easy to forget to tell your partner you love them every day, not just tell them but also back it up by actions. Because you’re opening your relationship it’s even more important to make sure your other half know that you love them, want them, and care for them every day. Swinging can become dangerous if your other half is not 100% sure that you love them and want them above anyone else and that they come first above anything. You can’t let a day go by without them knowing that.

Even if being in an open relationship was their idea, then you can bet that they are going to ‘up their game’ as it were to make sure that you’re still their favourite. So, as a summary we are taking more care of our appearance, making sure we show our partner we love them every day, and why, so we can have hot sexy fun with other people – it’s a win-win situation all round if you ask me!
