If you’re a fan of being in your birthday suit then you may feel that there’s not many places besides your home where you can ‘be yourself’. However there’s actually quite a few hidden gems where clothing is actually frowned upon!
The Beaches
There’s plenty of clothing optional beaches scattered across the globe and then there’s the secret little naked hideaways which are unofficial hotspots for a spot of skinny dipping and nude sunbathing. Try the Spiaggia di Guvano in Italy, a lesser known spread of coastline which is adorned with naked people. Only pitfall is that you need to travel through a pitch black tunnel to get to the good part, probably worth it though! Then there’s Praia do Pinho where there’s a strict rule of absolutely no clothing whatsoever!
Festivals
What about the World Body Art Painting Festival? Held every July in Austria, this is a magnificent display of beauty and creativity as tens of thousands of people attend making their own bodies into a work of art. Then there’s the Roskilde event in Denmark, where by turning up starkers you gain free entry! Sound like your kind of music festival?
Charity Events
Have you ever heard of the Running of The Bulls in Spain? Well there’s also a human version, Running of The Nudes which is a retaliation against the cruelty suffered by the bulls in the traditional event. The nudes often wear nothing but a pair of bullhorns as they run the course that the bulls would normally take.
Resorts
There’s plenty of resorts out there that offer their services for those less inclined to clothing. The Hidden Beaches Resort in Mexico is a well-kept secret, it boasts forty two seafront suites on a spread of white sand overlooking the glistening, clear water. Ahh sounds lovely! Then there’s the Desert Sun Resort in California, paradise in it’s naked glory!
So you’re not limited to the confines of your 4 walls after all should you have a love of getting naked and clothes-free!
